In Town, Without My Car Day on September 22

This day is to promote more environmentally friendly ways of travelling (like public transit, riding a bike, walking or carpooling). STO (Société de transport de l’Outaouais) has not only been advertising this day but they also have a special offer to encourage people to use public transit. They are offering a 2 for 1 special. If you have a bus pass, or pay the fare (with cash or a bus ticket), you can have a friend join you free of charge. I like this promotion because I think a lot of people don't appreciate how easy, economical and environmentally friendly taking the bus is.
